(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 22 - The Senate on Wednesday set up a
commission of enquiry into working conditions in Italy,
exploitation and safety at work amid a spate of workplace
accident deaths.
The chamber unanimously approved the establishment proposal,
which had been signed by all parliamentary groups. The vote was
by a show of hands and all groups in the chamber announced their
vote in favour.
According to Article 2 of the text, the commission will consist
of 20 senators appointed by the president of the Senate and in
proportion to the size of the parliamentary groups. (ANSA).
